WBJEE Counselling 2024 Notification: Eligibility, counseling process.
For the WBJEE 2024, candidates across West Bengal are eagerly preparing for this competitive exam, which opens doors to prestigious engineering and technical courses. Scheduled by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board, this exam assesses students’ knowledge in subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Successful candidates can secure admission to various renowned institutions across the state. Aspirants are advised to stay updated with official notifications and prepare diligently to ace the examination.
According to the board’s guidelines, there will be a unified counselling process for WBJEE 2024 and JEE Main 2024 rank holders. This process involves registration, selecting preferences, seat allocation, and payment of seat acceptance fees through a centralized system.
In the allocation phase, seats are assigned to candidates based on their ranks and chosen preferences. During the upgradation phase, candidates who have already been assigned seats can opt for a higher preference if available. A mop-up round is conducted afterward to fill any remaining vacant seats following the completion of previous rounds.

Any candidate who fulfills the eligibility requirements and has obtained a rank (GMR) in either the WBJEE-2024 or JEE(Main)-2024 exams is eligible to participate in counselling. The counselling process will consist of three rounds: Allotment, Upgradation, and Mop-Up.
