Eligibility Criteria for SSC CGL 2024

Education Qualifications:

The SSC offers numerous government positions across various departments, branches, and offices. The commission has outlined the educational qualifications required for each post as follows:

  1. Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer: Candidates need a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University, along with a CA/CS/MBA/Cost & Management Accountant/Master in Commerce or Business Studies.
  2. Junior Statistical Officer: Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field from a recognized university or a minimum of 60% marks in Mathematics in Class 12th.
  3. Statistical Investigator Grade II: Candidates must hold a graduation degree from a recognized university with Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics as a compulsory or elective subject.
  4. Research Assistant in National Human Rights Commission (NHRC): Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or institute and at least one year of research experience in any recognized university or research institution.
  5. Remaining Posts: A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institute is required for these positions.

Age Limit:

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and should not exceed 32 years of age to meet the age criteria for eligibility.

Fee Detail:

Applicants are required to submit an examination fee of ₹100/-. Applications submitted without payment of the examination fee will not be considered. However, candidates from SC/ST/PH/Ex-Serviceman categories and female candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.
