This program includes supplementary nutrition, immunization, health check-ups, referral services, and pre-school education.
The objective of this program is to provide infrastructure-oriented services to children over six years old, pregnant women, and lactating mothers.
These services are delivered at Anganwadi centers, which serve as central points in the community for providing these services.
Exam Syllabus
- Essay Writing in Local Language (Equivalent to Eighth Grade Level) – 15 marks
- Mathematics (Equivalent to Eighth Grade Level) – 20 marks
- Questions on Nutrition, Public Health, Women’s Social Status – 15 marks
- English (Basic English Language and Simple Translation, Equivalent to Eighth/Ninth Grade Level) – 20 marks
- General Knowledge Questions – 20 marks
Age Limit:
- Age: Candidates must be a minimum of 18 years old as of January 1, 2024.
- They cannot be more than 35 years old as of the same date.
Salary:
- Currently, Anganwadi helpers receive a basic monthly honorarium of ₹2250.
- In addition, they receive an additional monthly honorarium of ₹4050.
